Top tips for spam calls:

Don’t answer numbers you don’t recognize or have saved.
Block numbers you’ve answered that seem suspicious or spam
On Android phones you can also report a phone number as Spam and give a reson (so it can help prevent future spam)
Not sure if the spam call is someone you know? Hang up and call that personal contact using a saved phone number you have that you know belongs to them.
